Who Are We?
The GCVHF is established to promote, preserve, and share the cultural and family heritages of Grayson County, Virginia. We help researchers and families find and understand materials on our site and on related websites. We also have volunteers and resources at our office in Independence, Virginia.
Genealogy and History Help We want to help novice and experienced researchers!
Whatever your experience or knowledge level of the Grayson area, the GCVHF is ready to help you achieve your research goals.
The Foundation office will be open only by appointment until April 2023. Please contact us to arrange an appointment during the winter months. The best way to contact us is via email at research_support@graysonheritage.org. You can also call us at (276) 773-2126 to leave a message regarding your research interests.
Try to contact us at least a week before your planned visit, and if possible one of our office volunteers will assist you.
